Sit down with me in an informal, small group setting.  Ask questions, and get practical tips and information to help you deal with common issues associated with adolescent dogs.  Does your dog jump, chew, mouth, pull, bark, destroy household items, or do other things that frustrate you?  Are you unsure of how to change these behaviors?  Then this event is for you – you will get real answers that you can apply right away in your everyday life, and you will get help deciding on the right tools and approaches for any next steps.

Ask the Trainer Series #2 - The Fearful & Reactive Dog

Sit down with me in an informal, small group setting.  Ask questions, and get practical tips and information to help you deal with common issues associated with fearful and reactive dogs.  Does your dog avoid or shut down with new people, dogs, or environments?  Does he growl, bark and lunge at strange dogs, especially if he's on leash?  Does she startle or get nervous easily?  This event will help you better understand your dog's behaviors, and what you can do to manage or change those behaviors. Then you will get help deciding on the right tools and approaches for any next steps.

Pet CPR, First Aid & Care Classes:

There are currently no public classes scheduled in 2012. If you wish to schedule a class for your group, company, or organization, please contact me. See below for class descriptions.

PET CPR, FIRST AID, & CARE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

First Aid & CPR Essentials: Skills covered during this 4.5 hour class include: primary pet assessment; rescue breathing & CPR; bandaging & immobilization; what to do for burns, choking, heatstroke, snake bite; how to conduct a Snout-to-Tail assessment; AND MORE!  Classes are a mixture of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on skill practice, and are suitable for pet owners; Pet Care Professionals such as groomers, trainers, and pet sitters; and first responders such as fire fighters, police, and search & rescue personnel.  I utilize the Pet Tech curriculum and method. Pet Tech is the premier provider of instruction in pet CPR, first aid, and care.

PetSaver™: Skills covered during this 8-hour class include: primary pet assessment; rescue breathing and 3 types of CPR; bandaging & immobilization; what to do for burns, choking, heatstroke, snake bite; how to conduct a Snout-to-Tail assessment; wellness; preventive care; dental care; caring for a senior pet (age 7 and above); AND MORE!  Classes are a mixture of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on skill practice, and are suitable for pet owners; Pet Care Professionals such as groomers, trainers, and pet sitters; and first responders such as fire fighters, police, and search & rescue personnel.  I utilize the Pet Tech curriculum and method.
